  • The Scientific Committee will decide on the final presentation type of the accepted abstract.

    Sign-up and log in on this website.
    If you are already signed-up on this website, you can use your account for your abstract submission.

  • Step 2

    Submission & Confirmation

    After you submit your abstract, a confirmation email will be sent to the presenting author and the corresponding author.

  • Step 3

    Review & Modification

    You can review or modify your submitted abstracts by visiting ‘My Page’.

  • Step 4

    Acceptance Notice

    An acceptance notification will be sent to the presenting author and corresponding author via e-mail.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

General Guidelines

All authors are requested to review the following regulations regarding the submission and registration process.

  • The abstract must describe original, unpublished research related to the themes of APKASS 2026 Korea & ICKAS 2026.
  • Abstracts must be submitted exclusively via the official congress website. Submissions via email or other channels will not be accepted.
  • The reviewers will judge the abstracts according to scientific, translational or clinical value, relevance to APKASS 2026 Korea & ICKAS 2026, conclusions confirmed by objective results, objectivity of statements, originality of work and overall impression.
  • Authors are solely responsible for typographical and grammatical accuracy. No edits or corrections will be permitted after the submission deadline.
  • Abstracts will be included in the congress abstract book only if the presenting author completes full registration and payment by the specified deadline.

Instructions for Submitting the Abstract Body

To avoid technical errors and ensure accurate database transmission, please follow these formatting rules when entering your abstract text.

  • Directly copying text from MS Word may cause formatting glitches. We strictly recommend copying your text into a plain text editor (e.g., Notepad) first, then copying it again from there to paste into the online submission form.
  • Due to server security protocols, consecutive special characters (especially < and >) may be flagged or blocked.

    *Tip: Always include spaces when using these symbols (e.g., use < or > instead of < or >).

  • To ensure the accuracy of your submission against any display errors, all authors must upload the original abstract in MS Word format (.doc, .docx). This file will serve as the final reference for verification.

Notice of Acceptance

  • The presenting author and corresponding author will be notified via the e-mail address provided during submission regarding whether their abstract has been accepted.
  • The notification will include the presentation type and instructions on how to submit the presentation materials.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

  • A conflict of interest occurs when an individual’s objectivity may be potentially compromised by a desire for financial gain, prominence, professional advancement, or a successful outcome.
  • The APKASS 2026 Korea & ICKAS 2026 Organizing Committee strives to ensure that all content associated with the meeting is as balanced, objective, and evidence-based as possible.
  • Since it can be difficult to distinguish between an actual conflict of interest and a perceived conflict of interest, authors are required to disclose any and all potential conflicts of interest.
  • If there are any conflicts of interest, please disclose them at the time of abstract submission.

Withdrawal of Abstracts

  • You can withdraw your abstract in ‘My Page’ before the abstract submission deadline. 
  • If you would like to withdraw an abstract after the abstract submission deadline, please email the Secretariat(abstract@apkass2026korea.org).
  • All abstract presenters with accepted abstracts are required to complete the registration and pay the applicable registration fee by the specified deadline.
  • Failure to adhere to this requirement will result in the automatic withdrawal of their abstract.
  • The designated date for registration completion will be announced in the acceptance notice.
